Technical Sales Asia – Based in Hong Kong

Our client is a leading global player in the Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Specialty Chemicals, Commodities, Additives and Fuel Oil, with offices located in over 100 countries. Due to its fast expansion in Asia, it is currently looking for a high caliber individual for the following position: Technical Sales Asia – Based in Hong Kong RESPONSIBILITIES – Exploring potential markets and identifying market potential so as to gain profitable business – Assessing and managing market exposures, credit risks and operational constraints in Asia – Developing marketing strategies and profit plan for the whole Asia Pacific region. – Managing sales & technical services organization to achieve a differentiated position versus competitors – Providing commercial & technical support to gain global as well as regional key accounts – Establishing news projects to explore new products & business opportunity to gain fruitful profit – Organizing global & regional sales meeting to review business issues & develop growth tactics. – Accountable for P&L and budget control REQUIREMENTS (Essential Personal Abilities/Aptitudes/Skills) – Bachelor Degree. Master Degree is a plus. – 5+ years working experience in Sales of Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Speciality Chemicals, Commodities, Additives and Fuel Oil. – Highly motivated, pro-active, independent, resourceful and able to handle multiple tasks – Excellent interpersonal, good communication, and persuasive and negotiation skills – Results and objectives oriented – Processing analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution – Fluent in Cantonese and English is a must.
