Strategy of Innovation Leader's Summit – A Summary

AIMS Human Capital celebrated their 15th anniversary with the landmark event Strategy of Innovation held on February 22nd at Sheraton. The Leaders? Summit aimed at gathering forward thinking business people and supporting them with leading edge advice on how to handle challenges so that they discover new winning approaches that help them be competitive and grow dynamically. The special guest speaker, Mrs. Jill Hellman, who has traveled the world and worked with CEOs and other C-level executives of Fortune 100 companies, presented in an invigorating way 7 winning moves that according to in-depth studies proved to have the greatest impact when it comes to corporate innovation.

Logic is the enemy of innovation in the initial opening of the game.? Starting off with this claim, Mrs. Hellman skillfully led the audience of over a 100 notable business leaders from a variety of industries through each one of the strategems. Dating back to ancient Chinese wisdom, the strategems have magical power even today and have helped companies like Virgin Airways, Walt Disney, Ford, Boeing, Walmart and many others in their quest to the top of the game. Facebook and Wikipedia are also among the epitomes of innovative and unusual ideas explained by the winning moves.

Mrs. Hellman challenged the audience by stating that ?Strategy is not only about technologies, it is about new value!? and this provoked the audience to have a different look at their businesses and to structure additional ways for creating new value. The Summit?s topic was chosen as to reflect the current challenging economic environment that prompts business leaders to consider new models allowing for sustainable development.
